World of IPs - Pet System
The Pet System is one of the core features of RealGo, designed to deliver depth and strategic gameplay. The system is built around diversity, random attributes, and player-driven customization.
a. System Overview
The Pet System emphasizes strategic planning and resource management, with players focusing on capturing, selecting, training, and trading pets. Each pet, known as a "chain spirit," has unique attributes and abilities based on its elemental type. Players can strengthen their pets through growth and evolution, optimizing their teams for various challenges.
Randomized Attributes: Pets' base stats at Level 1 are generated within a predefined range, ensuring each pet is unique.
Elemental Types: Five elemental categories—Electricity, Flame, Water, Ground, and Root—create a rock-paper-scissors dynamic with strengths and weaknesses.
Strategic Depth: Players must explore, capture, and cultivate high-performing pets to excel in PvE and PvP gameplay.
b. Pet Attributes
Pets have five core attributes that influence their performance in combat and progression:
Attack Power: Determines the damage output in battles.
Defense Power: Reduces incoming damage from enemies.
Agility: Affects skill cooldowns, evasion rates, and critical hit chances.
Health Points (HP): Represents the pet's survivability during battles.
Mana Points (MP): Determines how often a pet can use special and ultimate skills.
Base Stats by Element
Each elemental type has unique stat distributions:
Electricity (Electra): High attack and agility, balanced MP.
Flame (Inferno): Exceptional attack and HP, moderate MP.
Water (Aqua): High HP and defense, strong MP.
Ground (Terra): High defense and HP, low MP.
Root (Verdant): Balanced stats with slightly higher MP, ideal for supportive roles.
c. Attribute Relationships (Elemental Counter System)
The elements follow a cyclical counter relationship:
Water > Flame > Electricity > Root > Ground > Water
This system encourages strategic team-building, as players must consider elemental strengths and weaknesses when assembling their teams.
d. Growth and Progression
Players can develop their pets through the following systems:
Experience and Leveling:
Pets gain experience through battles and missions, enhancing their core stats upon leveling up.
Growth speed depends on the pet's initial stats and individual value (IV).
Evolution and Breakthrough:
At Level 50, pets can evolve with specific materials (e.g., "Gold Core Fragments").
Evolution unlocks new skills and significantly boosts stats.
Star Level Upgrades:
Players can dismantle duplicate pets for shards, which can then be used to increase the star level of the corresponding pet.
Higher star levels provide a percentage-based suppression effect against lower-star pets.
Skill Customization:
Players can unlock new skills for pets using designated materials.
Skills include basic attacks (low damage, short cooldowns), special skills (consume MP with moderate damage and effects), and ultimate skills (high impact, limited use per battle).
e. Capture Mechanics
Capturing pets is a key part of the gameplay experience, allowing players to expand their collection:
Discovery: Pets can be found in specific maps, events, or limited-time activities.
Capture Tools: Players use items like the "Electric Catch Box" to increase capture success rates.
Rarity Impact: Rare pets have higher initial stat caps but are more challenging to capture.
f. Competitive and Exchange Features
PvE Battles:
Players can use their pets to challenge wild enemies and gain experience, materials, and rewards.
PvE encourages team synergy and strategic use of elemental advantages.
PvP Arenas:
Players compete against each other, showcasing their team-building strategies.
Rewards include ranking bonuses and valuable materials.
Marketplace and Trading:
High-stat pets and rare variants can be exchanged with other players, creating a vibrant trading economy.
g. User Interface (Pet Attributes and Customization)
Players can manage their pets through an intuitive interface:
Basic Information:
Name, star level, level, total combat power, elemental attributes, and role (attacker/support).
Stats and Skills:
HP, MP, attack, defense, agility, and available skills.
Players can unlock and switch between skills at any time.
Accessories (Optional):
Customizable items like scarves, wings, hats, and energy balls can enhance aesthetics or stats.
Progression Options:
Leveling, star upgrades, and attribute boosts using materials collected in-game.
h. Pet Interaction
Follow Mechanic:
Players can assign a pet to follow them on the map, enhancing the immersive experience.
Release System:
Unwanted pets can be released, returning materials and shards based on their level and rarity.
