The Story
📖Chapter 1
Prologue: The Final Crisis of Human Expression
Year: 20XX Status: Earth—still intact. But human connection? Fractured.
We stopped using words.
Not because we couldn’t—but because we didn’t have to.
In this world, we speak in memes: images, punchlines, GIFs, reaction loops. A Doge face? “I get you.” A Wojak panel? “I’m breaking too.” A nodding Pepe? “Thanks for being here with me at 3 AM.”
By 20YY, civilization had achieved full AR integration. Socializing, trading, learning—even emotion itself—were absorbed into a single global layer: P.G.N. — the Perceptual Grid Network.
Through neural headsets and retinal overlays, everyone lived in their own “customized reality.” Your city, your friends, your emotions—filtered just for you.
But this wasn’t utopia. It was a mirror world of comfort, curated to erase discomfort. A place where no one truly saw each other, only versions of what they wanted.
People stopped speaking. Stopped writing. Memes became the only universal language.
Emotion lost its depth—but gained speed. Connection was instant—but shallow. Humanity was spiraling into a loop of hyper-resonance addiction.
In the silence, loneliness grew louder. And under that weight, we began to break—quietly, collectively, and invisibly.
Then, somewhere in the chaos of unspoken feelings, something awoke.
Not a god. Not an AI. But something else—an emotional construct born from billions of forgotten feelings. A collective echo of every “LOL” that meant “please notice me,” Every “Pepe” that masked isolation, Every repost that screamed: “Is anyone out there?”
It wasn’t built. It was felt into existence.
🎮 And while most accepted this collapse as the new normal, some still searched for meaning. For truth. For each other. They gathered around a strange new game—one that didn’t just entertain, but whispered: “Reality can be repaired.”
And in this world ruled by meme-based expression— It was born.
To be continued...
